Know the moment something changes, without reading it yourself
CrawlGenie Monitor is competitor monitoring and change tracking without a model. Create a monitor in a minute: what to track (a page, a price, a list, a pricing page, news, mentions, a feed, an SEO score), how often, and where to alert. CrawlGenie keeps the dataset, shows the trend, and writes a weekly report you can paste anywhere. No model is involved, so it costs nothing in tokens.
Runs on a schedule
Hourly, daily, weekly. Each run remembers the last one and reports only what is new or changed.
Trend and report
Counts, prices and scores charted over time; a 7-day report in plain language, markdown or JSON.
Alerts where you work
Slack, email, Zapier, n8n or your own webhook, only when something changed.

What you get, in detail
Monitoring is where token costs quietly compound: the same competitor pricing page, the same job boards, the same regulator feed, read again every morning by people or by agents. CrawlGenie Monitor runs any of the 61 agents, or a custom monitor from the wizard, on a schedule, and remembers what it saw. A run reports only what is new or changed, with a diff for pages, new rows for lists, and price or score changes for structured pages. Because no model is involved, a monitor costs nothing in tokens no matter how often it runs.
Each monitor keeps a dataset across runs, charts its numeric fields over time (counts, prices, scores), and produces a 7-day report in plain language that can be pasted into Slack or sent by webhook. Alerts fire only on change. The custom-agent wizard covers the common cases without configuration: a page for any change, a pricing page, a single price, a list, news about a topic, mentions anywhere on the web, an RSS feed, or a page's SEO and AI-visibility score.
For developers
POST /v1/watches {kind, input, cron, webhookUrl}; /series and /report per watch; a one-click competitor preset. API reference.
What would this save you?
Move the sliders. The saving is computed from the measured ratios above and the model price you pick.
Assumes 10% of the page is kept per read (measured range 5–15%). Receipts in the product show the real number for your traffic.
Questions people ask
Can I monitor a page behind a login?
Yes, by attaching a saved login profile to the monitor.
How is this different from a change-detection tool?
Monitors understand structure: rows, prices, scores and lists, not just "the page changed", and they feed the same memory and connectors as everything else.
